From 33fe7fbb8d24dac91ae3d49be493e178c7f3c38d Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Kevin Wolf Date: Tue, 20 Apr 2010 12:17:40 -0300 Subject: [PATCH 1/9] qcow2: Fix creation of large images RH-Author: Kevin Wolf Message-id: <1271765860-20645-1-git-send-email-kwolf@redhat.com> Patchwork-id: 8725 O-Subject: [RHEL-6 qemu-kvm PATCH v2] qcow2: Fix creation of large images Bugzilla: 577106 RH-Acked-by: Jes Sorensen RH-Acked-by: Christoph Hellwig RH-Acked-by: Juan Quintela Bugzilla: 577106 Upstream status: Submitted qcow_create2 assumes that the new image will only need one cluster for its refcount table initially. Obviously that's not true any more when the image is big enough (exact value depends on the cluster size). This patch calculates the refcount table size dynamically.
